Summer Speedwork
One Mile Results from 2009 season.
Each week between Memorial Day and Labor Day, FLEET FEET staff members direct structured interval sessions tailored to help runners peak for the fall racing season. The free workouts are designed to be beneficial to 5K racers and marathoners, alike. You don't need to be speedy to do speedwork. You just need to want to get speedier.
In 2008, over 200 people of all abilities attended one of each week’s two workouts. Based on the data collected over the many years of this program, the average participant in the three month Summer Speedwork can expect to improve their 5K time by 75 seconds. Please join us.
