A 12-week program designed to train you for the April 6 GO! St. Louis Half Marathon. Pace groups for walkers, run/walkers and runners are available. Coached group long runs are on Saturday mornings and informal group workouts are offered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Half Marathon Training Program
PROGRAM BEGINS SATURDAY, JANUARY 12, 2008
7:30AM FLEET FEET SPORTS – CHESTERFIELD

Program participants receive:

  • A 12-week training program with daily workouts developed by FLEET FEET Sports (www.fleetfeetstlouis.com) and Tim’s Training (www.timstraining.com)
  • Coached runs in pace-specific groups: Runners, walkers & run/walkers welcome
  • Group runs on Saturdays @ 7:30am at a different location each week, showcasing some of St. Louis’ best running routes
  • Optional additional group workouts on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm, starting at FLEET FEET in St. Charles (Tuesdays) and FLEET FEET in Chesterfield (Thursdays)
  • Weekly tips and support from the coaching staff
  • Pre-run dynamic warm-up and stretching
  • Weekly training tips and seminars on topics such as injury, prevention, nutrition, and strength training
  • Race day pacing and support
  • A fun, social atmosphere
  • A Brooks long-sleeve technical training top
  • Post-race celebration
  • Post-run massage clinic
  • Injury prevention clinic
  • Yoga demonstration
  • Healthy cooking demonstration
  • Meet & Greet with coaches and class members & other social events

COST: $150* for 1st time class participant
           $135* for returning class member
