FLEET FEET Racing Team Rules

What You Do

  1. Purchase a FLEET FEET Sports racing top (if you don't already have one)

  2. Compete in any road race wearing your FLEET FEET top in MO or a bordering state.  (Note one race may be anywhere in the world, please submit location.)

  3. Submit your race results to FLEET FEET using our simple online forms (running or multisport).  (Note that race results must be submitted within two weeks of the race date.  No results will be accepted after 3:00pm December 31st, 2008)

  4. Repeat steps (2) and (3) throughout the year.

  5. Email a photo of you wearing your FLEET FEET uniform and the following questionnaire to me at andy@fleetfeetstlouis.com and I'll post it in your bio.

What You Get

  1. Teammates - It's simply more fun running on a team!  It's a great way to meet other local athletes as well as provides training partners from time to time.

  2. You'll be awarded Performance Points based on your time in each race for our overall standings.  These are gender/age-based (using the World Veterans Association's data tables), so you can compare your efforts with the entire team - not just others of your gender and age group!  Points for multisport athletes are based on their performance as it relates to the top performance in their age group.  The top four overall finishers will receive cash prizes on top of other awards (see awards).

  3. Choose to focus on one event?  Try for our brand new Vendor Awards.  Submit the required amount of races for your distance to be eligible.  The top male and female in each distance category will be outfitted by a particular vendor for the 2009 racing season.  (see awards for prizes and requirements.)  You do not have to specify which one you are going for, just keep submitting your results and you may come out on top!

  4. Discounts.  Throughout the year, we'll have special offers and giveaways for members of our team.

  5. FREE 2009 racing top - By submitting 12 or more running performances or 6 or more multisport performances during the year.

  6. FLEET FEET Elite status will be awarded to the four highest-scoring runners (overall standings) and four multisport athletes.  The top male and female scorer in the six individual race divisions will also be awarded FLEET FEET Elite status.

    The top-scoring man and woman (overall standings) will also be awarded "Runner of the Year" honors and the top-scoring man and woman (multisport standings) will be awarded "Multisport Athlete of the Year" honors.
