Master the Met Stairclimb

Master the Met Stairclimb

Join us for one of the most unique events in St Louis! On March 6, 2010, over 1,000 participants will huff and puff their way to the top of the Metropolitan Square Building for a great cause. This is more than your same-old 5K. This event is a vertical race to climb 42 floors. Whether climbing for a winning time or simply to cross the finish line, in honor or in memory of someone with lung disease, this event is a great way to challenge yourself physically. We guarantee that all finishers will have a newfound respect for healthy lungs!

The first climber will start at 8am, and climbers will start every 12 seconds, going up one at a time. Start times will be posted online by Monday, March 1st. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 19 & under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 & over. Awards will be announced following the completion of the event at the new post-race party on 6th street, which will feature entertainment and refreshments until 2pm. All participants will receive a long sleeve technical tee shirt.

Registration is limited to 1400 participants, and there are not very many openings left, so register now! All participants must be registered and have a minimum of $100 in fundraising received by March 6, 2010 to race. To register, and for more information, visit Master The Met online..
