What
is the race date and start time?
Race day is Sunday, September 14, 2008. The marathon and half
marathon will begin together at 6:45am.
How long is the course open (are walkers
welcome)?
The Lewis & Clark course is open a walker-friendly 9 hours! Any
participants not finished with the half marathon course will be
asked to move to the sidewalks after 4 1/2 hours. The second half of
the marathon is on the Katy Trail and will not be affected by road
openings.
Is the Lewis & Clark course a Boston
Qualifier?
Yes! The course is USATF certified and a Boston Qualifier.
Where do I park?
All entrants must park at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater (usually
referred to as "Riverport"). The parking lot will open at 4:45am,
two hours before the 6:45am starting time. The Amphitheater's
parking attendants will direct you to your parking space. Please
note that entrance to the parking area can be accessed from the
north and south.
We highly recommend no later than
5:15am to ensure plenty of time to park and get to the

How do I get back to my car after the race?
Shuttle service will be available for participants and spectators
continually throughout the day. Shuttles can be accessed from the
pick up area behind the finishers’ village in Frontier Park.

What about spectator parking?
Spectators should park at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater as
parking is limited in downtown St. Charles. Shuttle service is
available to take spectators to the finish line after the race
start. Additional shuttles have been added from last year and a

Can I still pick my packet up on race
morning?
No! All participants must attend the race expo on Friday, September
12, 12pm-7pm or Saturday, September 13, 10am-6pm to pick up your
race number and packet. The expo is in the Convention Area at the
host hotel, Ameristar Hotel Spa and Casino,

Is there a registration limit?
No. The race is open to an unlimited number of participants.
However, all participants must register by midnight on Sunday,
September 7. You can register online
here.
I am already registered, but would like to switch races. Is this possible?
