EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Are you right for FLEET FEET St.
Louis? Is FLEET FEET St. Louis right for you? Test yourself with
these questions:
Are you
willing to learn new things?
FLEET FEET St. Louis has earned earned multiple awards as a result of our
superior customer service. St. Louis Magazine has named us the best
running store in town. Runner's World Magazine has named us the best
running store in Missouri. FLEET FEET, Inc. has recognized us as one
of the best stores in the nation. You will need to make an effort to
learn about all the products we sell so that you can deliver the level of
service expected of a FLEET FEET St. Louis staffer. We'll help you,
but you must be prepared to study.
Are you
patient and willing to serve people?
We expect team members to have a friendly attitude towards all sorts of
customers -- to greet them as soon as they walk in; to converse with them;
to serve their needs. If you feel shy or awkward about talking to
people you don' t know, a position as a FLEET FEET St. Louis staffer is not
right for you.
Can you
stay calm and friendly under pressure?
Imagine providing superior customer care to two guests at the same time -
while your other team members are doing the same and five customers are
waiting for assistance. They all want the same level of attention and
care; they all want service in a timely fashion; they all want you to be
friendly and appreciative. It's your job to help the team provide all
three.
Are you a
team player?
Members of the FLEET FEET St. Louis family work closely with each other.
We all depend on and support each other. Your team members will count
on you to be 100% involved during your shifts. You need to (1) be
respectful and patient with your teammates and (2) pull your own weight.
Do you
have sales sense?
Our guests appreciate learning about products that will make their runs and
walks more enjoyable. You should be comfortable (and even passionate)
about suggesting products and educating people on how to use them.
Are you
good at switching gears?
When customers need help, you must focus entirely on meeting their needs.
When guest traffic slows, however, your focus will change to completing the
necessary tasks of stocking, cleaning, and studying. There is
always something to do.
If you
answered "yes" to all of the above questions, please email
Debby and David Spetnagel. Let us know a bit about you and your
desired position. Attach a resume, if available. |
